Environ Engineering & Management Consult (EEMC) is an organization, which provides a whole range of consultancy services to businesses, including Small, Medium and Large Scale Enterprises (SMLEs) in the field of environmental conservation and natural resources management, business plan development and management, technical assistance and training in the West Africa sub-region.

To provide efficient and innovative support services to our valued clients to adopt sustainable environmental and social safeguard measures to facilitate integrated thinking and decision making to enhance shareholder value in a balanced manner with other stakeholder interests.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support and promote the mainstreaming of environmental and social safeguards into development interventions by both Public and Private Entities to create and develop value and ensure sustainability through the application of the Global Reporting Guidelines and Integrated Reporting Framework within the context of relevant national legislation's and International Environmental and Social Safeguard Policies.

Our mission springs from several basic trends, which have characterized the past decade, adversely affecting the competitiveness of businesses in West Africa.

Specifically, these are:
• The lack of a pro-active preventive approach to the solution of pollution problems confronting industrial establishments.
• That many development projects in the region have made only modest gains due to the neglect of incorporating assessment of environmental and social issues and consequences of development and the necessary preventive and mitigative measures right at the conception and planning stages and during implementation and monitoring phases.
• That a holistic approach to West Africa’s development problems is imperative requiring a multidisciplinary orientation and expertise.
• The need to develop local capacities, expertise and perspective to enhance the competitiveness of businesses through the adoption of best and sound practices in strategic business and environmental management.
• The need to promote productivity of our valued target clients whilst ensuring efficiency and effective resource utilization through the adoption of sound environmental and quality management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 9000).
